16 years boy was stabbed to death at London playing field after attending friend's 16th birthday party

Police were called at around 9.40pm the previous evening and the kid was taken to healing center where he was confirmed dead. It is the capital's first blade death of 2016

A 16-year-old kid has been cut to death in a London park after attending a female friend's 16th birthday party.

The young boy is accepted to have attended the party at a social club at Ashton Playing Fields in Woodford, east London, when a disagreement started outside in the middle of him and four male youths

The Metropolitan Police said: "One of the guys then stabbed the victim before every one of the four made off by walking towards Chigwell Street."

Different visitors at the gathering came to help the kid before police and paramedics arrived, however he was later confirmed dead at the hospital , the Met said.

The victim is accepted to be the first blade death in the capital this year.

It happened at around 9.40pm on Saturday, as per officers.

He was taken by emergency vehicle to Whipps Cross hospital, however was confirmed dead at 10.45pm.

Police said they know the kid's personality however are anticipating formal recognizable proof.

His closest relative have been informed.

Criminologists from the  Homicide and Major Crime Command are researching under Investigator Boss  Ken Hughes.

DCI Hughes said: "There were around 100 youngsters at this gathering and we are engaging for anybody with data or any witnesses to approach at the earliest opportunity.

"The casualty's family are actually crushed and in stun by what has happened and we require the assistance of those at the gathering that night to advance our investigation."
