Celine Dion lost brother to cancer two days after she lost her husband

Older sibling of Canadian artist Celine Dion has died of cancer too, two days after her spouse passed on.

Daniel Dion, 59, died on Saturday close Montreal, an announcement by the artist's representative said.

Ms Dion's family paid tribute to the father-of-two, calling him "a delicate and held man of numerous gifts".



Her spouse and previous director, Rene Angelil, kicked the bucket on Thursday matured 73. His passing in Las Vegas came after two sessions with throat tumor.

Daniel Dion was the eighth of 14 youngsters, and performed with his kin in their guardians' piano bar in Quebec region.

He had been enduring tumor of the throat, tongue and cerebrum, his sister Claudette told the Journal de Montreal daily paper (in French).

"He was prepared, and isn't enduring any more," she said. "He found a sense of contentment.

The burial service of Mr Angelil, who dispatched Celine Dion's profession, will be hung on Friday in the Notre Dame basilica in Montreal, where the couple wedded.

Dion recorded 25 studio collections and is the fifth-best-paid recording craftsman on the planet, with an estimation of some $630m (£437m).

In 1999, her melody My Heart Will Go On, from the soundtrack of the film Titanic, won two Grammy honors
