‘I am not in a relationship Zahra Buhari’ – Zamfara state governor

Zamfara state Governor, Abdulazeez Yari, has denied reports claiming that he is having a sexual relationship with Zahra, President Buhari's little girl.


The representative made this known through a letter marked by his legal advisor, Mahmud Magaji (SAN), to the distributers of the report. The reports were at first distributed by two week after week productions – City People Magazine and The Polity.
The letters blamed the distributers for slander and requesting that they withdraw the story and apologize inside of seven days else the representative will document a maligning claim requesting for N100 billion (The Polity) and N10 billion (City People) from the productions.
Both reports claimed that the representative separated one of his wives, Hadiza Umaru Shinkafi, in other to make space for Zahra. It further reported, that Zahra was given a $200 million present by the representative.
Part of the letter says: "The above distribution, doubtlessly, is false and defamatory, and it is expected to bring the notoriety of our customer to deride and cause enmity or danger to our customer.
"Subsequent to the above distribution, our customer has gotten incalculable telephone calls and instant messages from family, companions, partners and relates, who ceaselessly call to enquire about the said production.
"Ensuing upon the above, it is our customer's guideline that we request from you distributed withdrawal of the said defamatory piece in three national daily papers comprehensive of your own
